VIROBUILD: Anata Rupa is featured in The Indonesia Design Magazine 16th Anniversary Edition

Anata Rupa on Indonesia Design Magazine

“Anata Rupa” was specially designed for the Bintaro Design District (BDD) with the Inclusivity theme, project initiated by Anneke Prasyanti (Bhumi Aras Hospitality+Design), Virobuild and Formologix for Bintaro Design District 2019, is featured in The Indonesia Design Magazine 16th Anniversary Edition. 

This iD Magazine’s 16th Anniversary Edition highlights the theme: “Collaborations” which also featured other successful collaborative projects.

A Heritage craftsmanship with contemporary topology geometry approach, using local-recycled-fiber material. Tradition united with modernity. The colors show origin color of local culture used by several tribes exists in this amazing Archipelago.

interpreting that the inclusivity should be addressed for public realm especially targeted for the young citizen: children. Departing from that interpretation, our vision is to create a design feature that intensifies young citizen activities to experience shared public space through kid-friendly public installation: Anata Rupa.

With the diameter approximately of 5 Meter,   Anata Rupa is inviting the public to respectfully saluting the beauty of differences.
Named in Sankrit language, Anata (meaning: respectfully saluted, colourful, variation) and Rupa (meaning: shape, form), Anata Rupa tried to re-introduce the local wisdom to crafted object -the woven surface- and colour which applied into a non-Euclidean geometry that expected to be very attractive, dynamic and playful for kid.
